On this Casa Padrino wall lamp two chrome rods run down from the wall plate, cross and knot themselves into an open loop before sweeping back up in a wide arc to carry the shade.

That knot is the entire motif. It turns two straight rods into a continuous line the eye can follow and gives the otherwise strict form something casual.

The black fabric shade is included. It is cut oval and deliberately wide in relation to the lamp, so that it visually gathers the two arms and releases the light downwards and upwards onto the wall.
